This photo was taken for the landscape and seascape project. The image consists of line, foreground, middleground, background and distance. I believe this to be one of the strongest photos I have taken so far in photography. It is simple yet beautiful, with the bamboo in the forground leading all the way back to the clear, shinning water. The lighting of this photo was taken mid- afternoon in Florida, giving the a peaceful escense and not over exposing it.
This image was taken for the painting with light projects. What I did to create this photo, is took a string of lights and swung them in a circular motion with a fast shutter speed. The focal pont of the image isn't exactly in the middle it is more to the side using the rule of thirds. This photo is interesting to look at because at first glance you cannot distinguish what the light source was.
This is another image for the landscape and seascape project. It consists of foregrounf, middleground, background and a little framing. The focus is on the pink flowers in the forground of the photo. The point of view was taken closer the flowers and then showing the background. I chose this image because I thought it was a beautiful picture I took while in Florida. The plants and lighting was pretty!!
This was part of the depth of field project. There is forground, middleground and background. The middleground of this photo is the prange pepper. There was a large depth of feild in bluring the background and the foreground of the photo. The pepper's color and shinniness is the photo I thought was magnificant, making the photo brighter and more interesting.
Laura was whipping her hair back and forth with a fast shutter speed. There is a touch of detail in the top left hand corner of the photo, with the tree leaves. The school in the background gives the photo depth because it continues on in the photo. This was part of the motion project.
This was taken for line and shape. The branches on the tree has many leading lines. The point of view was looking up on the tree. This looks more interesting and dark in black and white rather then color. Your eyes tend to focus more on the tree because it is bolder then you would on the blue sky that would be in the background. In between the branches interesting shapes are made.
This picture was taken for pattern and texture. There is a lot of texture in the grass around the leaf. Alsp the lighting on the leaf creates interesting lines and shapes making the photo exciting. The flash from my camera over exposes a leaf a little. This photo was forced to be put up by Mrs. Troutman. :)
