The lighting in this shot is from above and is looking down on the model. The lighting is on the top and on one side of the models face. There is a shadow of the models arm and shoulder in the background. The model is in the corner of the image looking down, not allowing you to see her eyes. The image is revealing the upper torso of the model to the models head. The image was taken horizontal with a straight on point of view. I was about 3 or 5 feet away from the model. The lighting looking down at the model and the model looking down give the mood of mystery and thought. It gives the viewer the idea that the model is lost in thought. In the second image that was taken of the same model the light was in the front corner to the model. The mood is more comical because of the models facial expression and pose the model is doing. These images are polar opposites in emotion and idea of the photo.
